HomeCove Privacy Policy

1. Summary

• HomeCove offers a 90-day app-managed founding trial for photo ingredient scanning, with an optional yearly subscription (HomeCove Pro).
• No account sign-in is required for core features.
• We do not sell personal data.
• Subscriptions are processed by Apple App Store, Google Play, or (on web) Stripe / Razorpay — we do not store payment card data.

2. Information We Process

• Device and app diagnostics: basic app performance and crash signals.
• Content inputs: text you type and images you choose when you actively use related features. HomeCove does not request microphone access in this release.
• Weather city: the city you enter is used to retrieve a forecast. HomeCove does not request device location permission.
• Billing support identifiers: an on-device customer id and, on web checkout, an optional email you provide for subscription support lookup.
• Local settings: preferences stored on your device.

3. Permissions

Depending on features you use, HomeCove may request:

• Camera: ingredient/photo scanning features.
• Photo Library: selecting images for scan/import.

4. How We Use Information

• Provide app features and requested responses.
• Improve reliability, quality, and safety.
• Detect abuse, fraud, and technical issues.
• Comply with legal obligations.

5. Sharing & Third-Party Processors

We may share limited data with infrastructure and service providers strictly to operate HomeCove. We do not sell personal data.

• Apple App Store / Google Play — subscription billing and receipt validation on mobile.
• Stripe / Razorpay — web checkout only; card data stays with the processor.
• Google ML Kit — on-device image labeling for ingredient hints (processed on your device when enabled).
• Hugging Face — cloud vision for kitchen photo scan via our `/api/vision` endpoint (images you choose to scan).
• Vercel — web hosting and serverless APIs (news, vision, article proxy, entitlements).
• OpenWeatherMap — optional weather (only if you configure an API key).
• News / RSS providers — headline and article content.
• YouTube / Google — optional karaoke and live TV (only when you connect or play).
• Supabase (mirror_ui) — subscription entitlement records and optional support tickets for paid customers.

6. Data Retention

• Most preferences stay on your device unless cloud features are enabled.
• Operational logs are retained only as long as needed for security and reliability.

7. Children

HomeCove is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, or export of data that we control. Contact: info@consultcraftinc.com.

9. International Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries where our vendors operate, subject to appropriate safeguards.

10. Changes

We may update this policy over time. Material changes will be reflected with a new effective date.
